Shipping and Returns
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight and value of your order. Our shipping options and prices are calculated and shown during the checkout process.
UK Shipping is normally the following:
Goods over £500 are shipped for free in the UK only.
First Class Standard - Usually 1-2 Days. Not insured or guaranteed. (align-trex.co.uk do not accept liability if the post is late)
First Class Recorded - Usually 1-2 Days. Requires a signiture and guaranteed to £41.
Second Class Standard - Usually 3-5 Days. Not insured or guaranteed. (align-trex.co.uk do not accept liability if the post is late)
Second Class Recorded - Usually 3-5 Days. Requires a signiture and guaranteed to £41.
Special Delivery - Insured upto £500, and delivered with signiture the next day.
Standard Parcel - 3-5 Days. No Signiture, but proof of dispatch and guaranteed to £500.
Courier service - Next working day delivery, of parcels upto 20Kg. Signed and Insured to your door. Please note this option only allows for Mon to Friday delivery and could be any time during the day.
International
Royal Air Mail - normally within 3-5 days. (Liability is not accepted by align-trex.co.uk if lost)
Royal Mail international Signed for - normally 3-5 days and gauranteed
Royal Mail Air Sure - normally 3-5 days and gauranteed upto 500.
European Courier service - normally 3-5 Days and allows parcles upto 25Kg.
Please allow extra time during Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays. Last Dispatch date in time for Christmas will be 21st December using 1st Class. After this there will be no guarantee through the post office of arriving in time.
International deliveries may be liable for further charges on import into your country please see your native government legislation on how this might affect you.
Any extra costs incurred by import duty / tax etc by your own countries customs will be the sole responsibility of the receiver.
Items on the site may be indicated as in stock but may not be available for immediate despatch, as the nature of supply for these items can be patchy from time to time and may be supplied from more than one origin.
Most Canopies are now kept in stock, however Fuselage can take a little longer to deliver and could take an extra 3-5 days.
Please note that your order may be part shipped should any item be out of stock. We will notify you in the unlikely event of this occuring.
We will then send the remaining items out as soon as they arrive, you do have the right to cancel your order or request a refund, which we will always be happy to honur.
Any extra postage costs will be covered by ourselves.
Delivery Conditions
Items will be despatched as soon as necessary funds are cleared through the Bank/Paypal/Barclaycard. For cheque payments, please allow 5 working days to clear. Any order not paid for within 3 days of placing the order will be cancelled and no goods will be sent.
Goods will be despatched on dependence of stock levels. If the item is not in stock, we will advise of an approximate shipping date. We will advise you by phone or email if the parts are not in stock.
Goods should be inspected immediately upon receipt. You will need notify the us by email sales@align-trex.co.uk or telephone (tel. 01753-694171) within 7 working days of delivery if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with the original purchase. If you fail to inform us within this period you will deemed to have accepted the Goods.
Returns policy
You have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel your order and receive a refund by informing the Seller by email sales@align-trex.co.uk or telephone 01753-694171 within 7 working days of receipt of the Goods. The right to cancel does not apply to contracts for the supply of software, audio or visual recordings if these have been unsealed by the Consumer.
Returns will only be accepted after emailing us for authorisation first, DO NOT just send the goods back. This can be obtained by emailing us at sales@align-trex.co.uk or calling us. Conditions of return as follows:
- Goods must be as returned in their original unopened packaging especially if parts have purchased, or internal parts in the case of kits. Nothing should be part built.
- Return postage cost will be the responsibility of the purchaser (we recommend Recorded Delivery we are not liable for items we have not received, larger or more valuable items need to be sent through insured couriers)
· Items to be returned must clearly show the order number obtained from the Seller on the package.
The purchaser will receive a refund of all monies paid for the Goods (except return postal charges) within 30 days of cancellation.
Where returned Goods are found to be damaged due to the Buyers fault the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.
If parts are being returned and have been opened, they will incur a 20% re-stocking charge. This will include parts contained in Kits, but does not include the original kit packaging. If the original packaging is damaged, please advise, us at the time of requesting a return authorisation.
Any refunds will only be issued on safe arrival of the refunded goods with align-trex.co.uk and not before, whether our or the customers error.
Returning kits after requesting a build
New Goods that were requested for professional build, will incur a 20% restocking charge. Once the kit is opened and built, it cannot be sold for new to a second customer, if no longer required by the original Buyer. Be sure you want the Kit built, prior to purchase.
Returning second hand Goods
Second hand parts can be returned, however they will incur a 20% re-stocking fee. As second hand goods do not normal come in new condition or are posted in new condition. You will need to follow the returns policy above and get authorisation.
Second hand kits, and pre-built helicopters are ‘sold as seen’. We will only allow for return of faulty goods, if not already specified as faulty / un-checked, or fit the description on which they were advertised. We will first try and resolve the issue with you.
Returning an Item you are not delighted with
If you wish to return goods that you are not delighted with for a refund, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of goods by emailing us at sales@align-trex.co.uk, as per the returns policy above.
Then return your product in its original condition and packaging to the following address:

Please note that the parcel and its contents are your responsibility until they reach us. We therefore recommend that you send them by registered post, retaining proof of postage. Goods are returned at your expense. This does not affect your statutory rights. We will refund the value of the returned item less delivery costs, providing the goods are returned in perfect condition. Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt. This includes your right for 7 days cooling off period.
Returning a faulty item
If an item is faulty, please follow the returns policy above. If found not to be faulty. If part of a kit is faulty, then it is possible to have the faulty parts replaced instead of returning the complete item.

The parcel and its contents are your responsibility until they reach us and we therefore strongly recommend you send them by registered post and retain proof of postage.
Items found to be faulty will only be replaced at align-trex.co.uk discretion.
Swaps and exchange items As we offer special deals on swapping old for new. We do ask that the product sent are with their original packaging and instructions, unless stated in the advert otherwise.
If these are not available, please advise us via an email first, prior to making the purchase. We will endeavour to try and setup a new purchase item online for you to pay against, after agreeing an exchange price. If the old item arrives broken / damaged / non-functional, then we will try and settle on an alternative exchange price or send the product back to you. The costs for the postage back will have to be covered by yourselves. To ensure this does not occur, please pack the item carefully and post appropriately, allowing for insurance etc where needed.
For exchanges, please allow 7 working days from sending your product to the new product arriving back with you.
Payments towards new swap / exchange products must be made in advance. You will still get 7 days right to cancel on the new product after its arrival with you. We will have to charge a return and cancel fee on the old product. This will cover our costs to returning the item through packaging and postage.
